Octagon client, Darcey Bussell has just been announced as the first ever face of the Sanctuary Spa skincare range.
Launching in June 2012, Active Reverse is a cutting-edge collection of products designed for women aged 40 plus who want to reduce wrinkles, restore firmness to their skin and retain the dewy-bloom which is the hallmark of beautiful skin.
A principal dancer with the Royal Ballet for almost 20 years, Darcey Bussell understands how important it is to look after her skin and body, and has now chosen to work with a company that is famous for helping women find a little time for themselves; The Sanctuary Spa. Originally set up 35 years ago as a place for dancers at the Royal Ballet to unwind and enjoy treatments to relax tired muscles, it is now a sanctuary for all women; hard-working mums in need of some pampering, friends enjoying a fun day together and women who want treatments that offer real, visible results.
A hard-working mum of two girls, Darcey Bussell appreciates the importance of great skincare and a little indulgent pampering. Darcey says: “By the time I reached 40 I noticed my skin was starting to show signs of ageing and I don’t want to stop time, but I’d like a little help in ensuring I grow old gracefully. That’s why I’m delighted to work with The Sanctuary; people who really understand women’s skin and how to care for it, offering a real and noticeable difference."
Michelle Feeney, PZ Cussons Beauty CEO, says: “A modern woman who happens to be an icon and is known for her natural, timeless beauty and down to earth style, we feel Darcey Bussell is the perfect match for The Sanctuary Spa and we’re delighted to be working with her. As The Sanctuary Spa celebrates its 35th Birthday this year we’re revisiting the heritage of the spa and as it was created as a haven for ballerinas, having Darcey as the face of Active Reverse is just perfect. ”
