Mars announces FA partnership
Octagon UK has successfully assisted Mars with their strategic property selection and negotiations leading to Mars five-year agreement to sponsor The Football Association. The agreement will also result in a long-term partnership for Octagon.
Mars will serve as Official Supplier to England until July 31st 2010. After August 1st 2010, Mars will become an Official Supporter to the England team, Official Supplier to Wembley Stadium the home of football, and the Official FA Adult Grassroots Football lead Partner. Mars will help drive a new element of The FA’s "Get into Football" campaign which focuses on recruiting and retaining male and females playing football.
This is Mars biggest sponsorship deal and their powerful integrated marketing will make them a benchmark sponsor to The FA.
