Nick Massey, CEO Octagon Europe & Middle East, today announced the appointment of Glenn Lovett as the new Vice President of Cricket

Lovett will head the Cricket Division to develop new business alongside the existing portfolio of cricket clients that includes the award winning strategic and exploitation work with NatWest.

An Australian and a former professional Australian Football League player, Lovett was previously Managing Partner of one of Australia’s leading brand and sponsorship agencies, Crowe Lovett (now Gemba Group). He worked with many of the world's leading brands, governing bodies, media organisations and athletes to provide business, brand and marketing solutions. This included working with Fosters on their sponsorship of the VB one-day series and Australian cricketers, Shane Warne and Shane Watson. Prior to this, Lovett had stints at global management consultants Booz Allen Hamilton, and in sports marketing for Nike Australia.

Moving to the UK in late in 2006, Lovett headed business development at digital specialists Red Bee Media until joining Octagon at the start of April.
