Octagon is committed to responsible business - making an impact on society and on the environment through community engagement programmes, grassroots sports initiatives and cause marketing. Our expertise in sport, music and entertainment makes us an ideal agency partner for brands that are seeking to give back to the communities they serve and the causes close to their hearts.
In the United States, Octagon has worked with the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation on a tour that gave people throughout the country the opportunity to ‘Come Together Again’ to learn about the plans for a memorial and museum to be constructed on the World Trade Center site.
From building sites to healthier kids
Our insight-led approach has benefited a variety of organisations over the last decade. We help blue chip companies to ensure that responsible business is at the core of their programmes and strategies.
We have played a key role in a wide variety of programmes - from experiential activity promoting health and safety messages in the construction industry (Health and Safety Executive ‘Working Well Together’) to voucher schemes providing schools with sports equipment and training sessions (Tesco Sport for Schools and Clubs).
Rewarding and award-winning
We are proud to have worked with NatWest on award-winning programmes that deliver for the brand, the community and charity. These include the annual biggest volunteer programme in the UK (NatWest CricketForce) and the unique sun safety campaign targeted at cricket players and fans alike that has raised over £500,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. In 2009, over 1500 clubs participated in NatWest CricketForce, with more than 80,000 volunteers participating.
